Organization

The Red Cross of Serbia is a national society, and consists of two province organizations- the Red Cross of Vojvodina and the Red Cross of Kosovo and Metohija, and 183 Red cross organizations in towns and municipalities.


The Red Cross of Serbia implements its program activities owing to the aid of 60.000 volunteers and the expert engagement of 800 employees within the network of the Red Cross of Serbia. In collaboration with donors the Red Cross of Serbia implements 64 different programs.

  • The Assembly of the Red Cross of Serbia
  • The Governing Board of the Red Cross of Serbia
  • The Monitoring Board of the Red Cross of Serbia

The first article of the Statute of the Red Cross of Serbia states:

  • The Red Cross of Serbia is a humanitarian, independent and voluntary organization, and the only national society within the Republic of Serbia.
