Information Department
The aim of the service for information and promotional activities of the Red Cross of Serbia is to mobilize the community for action to keep the Red Cross of Serbia.
(The legal basis of the Information Service of the Red Cross of Serbia follows from the Law on Red Cross of Serbia and of Articles 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16th)
There is a continuing need to maintain and strengthen good image of the Red Cross of Serbia, appropriate to the quality of the numerous activities at all levels, as well as informing the public about the actions of the Serbian Red Cross in many fields of work, and on the capacity of the organization and its capabilities. Information Department has the task of mobilizing the community for action led by the Red Cross of Serbia. The role of the Information and Public Relations of the Red Cross of Serbia stems from the Strategy of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent to 2020.

Her role is maintaining and consolidating a good image of the Red Cross of Serbia, appropriate to the quality of the numerous activities at all levels, as well as informing the public about the actions of the Serbian Red Cross in many fields of work, and on the capacity of the organization.
Target groups for the positive message and objective information about the activities of the Red Cross of Serbia are: the widest public, the various decision-makers, potential donors, international humanitarian organizations and civil society organizations, beneficiaries of the Red Cross, participants in media campaigns and volunteers and a staff of the Red Cross .
With the support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent in 2016 were held three seminars titled "Humanity in communications." Seminars were covered by volunteers and employees of the Serbian Red Cross, the Red Cross of Vojvodina, Belgrade Red Cross, members of the commission for informational and promotional activities of the Serbian Red Cross, Red Cross Novi Sad, Subotica, Sombor, Sid, Ruma, Kanjiza, Kikinda, Kragujevac, Bujanovac, Presevo, Nis, Vranje, Pirot, Negotin, Svilajnca, Aleksinac and Niska Banja.
Red Cross of Serbia every year presents its publications at the International Book Fair in Belgrade.
