05/09/2025

Do you care for an older family member and need information about available support?

The Red Cross of Serbia has launched info lines for support to older persons and their family members who care for them. Our staff and volunteers are here to provide you with information and guide you towards the rights and services you are entitled to.

When you call us, you can expect:

  • Clear and reliable information about social and health care
  • Guidance to the relevant institutions and organizations
  • A conversation with full respect for your privacy

You are not alone – talking to someone can bring relief and solutions.

Available info lines:

  • Red Cross Belgrade, tel. 011 2620 616 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

The launch of the info lines is part of the project “Strengthening Health Care, Participation and Social Equity in the Western Balkans (SHAPE)”, which aims to mitigate the socio-economic consequences of crises and increase the inclusion of vulnerable groups, particularly older persons, in the health and social system. The project contributes to improving access to health care, social services and economic participation, as well as to promoting healthy ageing and the importance of mental health.

The SHAPE project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection of the Republic of Austria and the Austrian Red Cross.
