Monitoring visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, TASIOP project

18/12/2017

One of the regular activities of the Red Cross of Serbia in the Taking Action on Social Inclusion of Older People project, funded by European Union, Austrian Development Agency and Austrian Red Cross, is organising monitoring visits to regional partners. These visits facilitate better understanding of the project implementation in the particular national context and provide opportunities to support the partners. The second visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina was organised on 14 and 15 December 2017 when dr Milutin Vracevic and Natasa Todorovic of the Red Cross of Serbia visited Association Osmijeh.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the implementation of the project so far in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the upcoming activities of the Network For Ageing With Dignity. The partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina reported about organising a national level research and publishing a call for proposals for micro-projects to be supported via subgranting. In the next month the plan is to organise educational workshops focusing on citizens activism. One of the important topics on the meeting were the deadlines as well as communication with EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting was used to agree on the plan for the coming period.
