Partners Meeting in the “Strengthening the resilience of older persons and persons with disabilities during the COVID-19 crisis and future crises” project

12/11/2021

A meeting of partners within the project “Strengthening the resilience of older persons and persons with disabilities during the COVID-19 crisis and future crises”, funded by the European Union and the Austrian Development Agency, was held in Belgrade on November 8, 2021. This meeting was organised in order for all partners to get acquainted with the implementation so far and to exchange experiences, but also to discuss the challenges they faced in the first year of implementation. All four components were presented and a plan for future activities within these areas was made (cash and voucher assistance, psychosocial support, research and advocacy and preparation for microgrants).

The meeting was attended by 12 partners from the region in addition to representatives of the Red Cross of Serbia, who coordinate the project: representatives of the Austrian Red Cross, Albanian Red Cross, Albanian Association of Geriatricians and Gerontologists, Red Cross of Bosnia and Herzegovina, NGO Hajde, NGO Humanity, Red Cross of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Red Cross of Montenegro, Caritas Kosovo, SeConS and NOOIS.
