Presentation of the Red Cross of Serbia research at the webinar of the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research

On Tuesday 20 February, the Red Cross of Serbia experts, Nataša Todorović and Dr Milutin Vračević presented the research report „Long-term care of older persons and persons with disabilities in the Western Balkans“, implemented last year by the Red Cross of Serbia in cooperation with the SeConS Development Initiative, as part of the webinar „Challenges of Long-Term Care in the Western Balkans“. This event was one in a series of weekly webinars as part of the „building bridges“ initiative by the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research.

The Red Cross of Serbia associates presented the research results, the most important data and recommendations for the improvement of relevant public policies to representatives of institutions and public policy makers from several European countries during a one and a half hour address. The research was conducted as part of the project „Strengthening the resilience of older people and people with disabilities during COVID-19 and future disasters“, coordinated by the Red Cross of Serbia since 2020, and s supported by the European Union, Austrian Development Agency and the Austrian Red Cross.
