Red Cross of Serbia and support for older persons during vaccination - Blog post on the HelpAge International website

For a year now, all countries around the world have been facing the COVID-19 pandemic and the changed circumstances in which people live and work, and since the beginning of vaccination in Serbia, older persons have been a priority. The Red Cross of Serbia provides support to this category of the population through 48 of its branches. Older persons are provided with support when giving information on how to schedule an appointment for vaccination, and support when scheduling, transportation assistance, but they are also provided with psychological first aid and psychosocial support.

HelpAge International, the largest civil society organization dealing with the position of older persons around the world, published a blog post about the work of the Red Cross of Serbia and providing support older persons in Serbia on its blog page written by Natasa Todorovic, an expert associate of the Red Cross of Serbia.
