Mental Health of Refugees and Migrants

Publication “Mental Health of Refugees and Migrants” presents the results of the research that the Red Cross of Serbia implemented in partnership with Psychosocial Innovation Network (PIN) with support provided by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Norwegian Red Cross.

Mental health problems and conditions are one of the leading mental health issues at global level and refugees and migrants are an especially vulnerable group in this regard. Many traumatic experiences in the country of origin, as well as along the migration route, as well as all the challenges they face in the country of temporary residence or the destination country, are significant risk factors for mental health issues and problems.

The authors of the publication are: Jovana Bjekić, Maša Vukčević Marković, Nataša Todorović i Milutin Vračević
