Hungarian Red Cross Visit to the Red Cross of Serbia
On Thursday 24 August the representatives of Hungarian Red Cross visited the Red Cross of Subotica. The objective of the visit was getting to know the activities of psychosocial support implemented by the Red Cross of Serbia and the psychosocial support services provided to migrants, as well as to strengthen partnership and cooperation between the two National Societies.
A meeting was organised in the Red Cross of Subotica headquarters and the Hungarian Red Cross partners also visited the centre for migrants in this municipality. During the meeting the Hungarian colleagues talked about their activities and plans and the Red Cross of Serbia representatives talked about psychosocial support activities at Serbian territory. The Red Cross of Subotica staff talked about concrete activities implemented in the centre for migrants in their municipality and the guests had a chance to see some of the services provided to children and women. Alongside the representatives of the Red Cross of Subotica who hosted the meeting and the six Hungarian Red Cross representatives, the meeting was also attended by Lidija Ric Rihter, the Red Cross of Vojvodina Secretary and Natasa Todorovic and Dr Milutin Vracevic of the Red Cross of Serbia.
