On a hill, four kilometers from the city center, from where  is panorama  of Pirot is  the  Migration reception center,  where 95 Afghans, Iraqis, Iranians and Pakistanis are living. These are mostly family people, so there are 47 children among them. The time of Ramazan, and temperature is more than 30 degrees. There has caused that are not a lot of people around the center. It's hard to find a cold and hope that migrant life will shorten soon at the desired address in Europe. In the front of the camp there are gardeners with the ground where vegetables and flowers are grown, something is fulfilled for the day. The migrants already understand Serbian, and their children speak it. Children attend school, 4 primaries and two high schools in Pirot. For those smaller children, some of the donors set up slides.

Red Cross of Pirot brings meals on time every day, three times per day. The order is formed and the cooked meal is quickly distributed in the dining room. It takes it for itself, but mostly for the whole family. Who does not fast, eats in the dining room, and the rest of the meal is preserved for later, when the sun goes down, as their faith orders.

Afghan Ahwad Zaki Naikzad / 39 years / helps to get the meal quickly and accurately. He is in Serbia for 16 months. His daughter is going to the first grade and she can follow the lessens in Serbian. Award’s family traveled to Serbia for more than a year.Confession as a movie, running, hiding, various merchants with human misery ... Parents and the rest of the family are still in Afghanistan. He and his wife and daughter go on a dangerous journey believing that they deserve a better life.

Since the beginning of the migrant crisis, Pirot has divided 317,869 different foods / soups, teas, cooked meals and dry meals / migrants who have stayed in this city since the beginning of the migrant crisis.
