Results of the writing contest „Life during Coronavirus: How did you spend your time in isolation?“

The Red Cross of Serbia will at the “Mixer festival 2020: Oxygen” on 8 October, at 12:00 in Zornica House in Barajevo, deliver awards to the best authors of prose and poetry works sent to the contest “Life during Coronavirus: How did you spend your time in isolation?” organised in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund and the Commissioner for Protection of Equality.

Three awards for the best three authors and one special award will be delivered by John Kennedy Mosoti, UNFPA Director for Serbia, Prof. Dr Dragan Radovanovic, President of the Red Cross of Serbia, Brankica Jankovic and Natasa Todorovic, Health and Care programme Manager in the Red Cross of Serbia. The laureates are:

  1. Mira Lilić, Belgrade
  2. Helena Himel, Ečka
  3. Iskra Jovanović, Prokuplje

Special award: Kindergarten „Šumska vila“ from Kragujevac

The names of all the authors whose stories and poems will be published in the book „Time without time: Life during Coronavirus: How did you spend your time in isolation?“ will be published on the Red Cross of Serbia website on 8 October.

More than one hundred prose and poetry works were sent to the writing contest „Life during Coronavirus: How did you spend your time in isolation?“ organised by the Red Cross of Serbia in cooperation with Commissioner for Protection of Equality and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The jury of experts: Miloš Janković, Gordana Vlajić and Majo Danilović analysed all the works and selected the following to be printed in the book „Time without time: Life during Coronavirus: How did you spend your time in isolation?“
