The Red Cross of Serbia presents  the second issue of the Taking Action on Social Inclusion of Older People project newsletter funded by European Union, Austrian Development Agency and Austrian Red Cross. The project is being implemented in five countries of the Western Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. The project is coordinated by the Red Cross of Serbia.

In this issue of the newsletter we present the activities of the second quarter of the Taking Action on Social Inclusion of Older People project and cover different topics: Advantages and disadvantages of networking, activities of Western Balkans civil society networks, Austrian Red Cross and activities  targeting older people in emergencies, looking forward to 1 October, International Day of Older Persons, guest column by Jemma Stovell of HelpAge International tackling ageism.
