One of the magnificent ten, Red Cross volunteer Ana Nikolic

Ana Nikolic, a young volunteer of the Red Cross Palilula, was part of the exhibition "When the world stopped, they did not", and found herself in the company of ten women who helped during the pandemic and still help those who need help. Her face is the face of all our volunteers in all areas, and her photo featured there is recognition of all the humane women who helped the vulnerable people under the emblem of the Red Cross and contributed to the fact that no one in Serbia feels forgotten and abandoned.

The exhibition at the French Cultural Centre from March 8 to April 15, 2021, which featured a photograph and statement by Ana Nikolic, is part of a project implemented with the support of the United Nations Agency for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment UN Women, with the Gender Equality Coordination Body of the Government of Serbia, the Ministry of European Integration, the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia and the French Embassy in Belgrade. The exhibition was opened by the French Ambassador to Serbia, HE Mr. Jean-Louis Falconi.

After Belgrade, the exhibition will be set up in Nis, Novi Sad and several other cities in Serbia. The photographer is Igor Mandic, and the audio recording was made by Sandra Mandic.
