The Red Cross of Serbia has, with UNFPA support started implementation of the project “Stronger and Connected” that aims to digitally include older persons in the society through education ABC Digital Inclusion which will be tailor-made for older persons and their needs. Older persons will until the end of December have coaching sessions on tablet computers using the Red Cross of Serbia Step-by step guide for use of selected e-services.

Alongside education, the aim of the project is to increase resilience of older persons and support peer and intergenerational solidarity and support. The support is provided regularly via telephone circles and with support of older volunteers. The project is implemented by five Red Cross of Serbia branches: Savski Venac, Kragujevac, Pirot, Sombor and Novi Sad. The Red Cross of Kragujevac runs these activities every Tuesday, observing all epidemiological safety measures.
